Some of the 'pics' are Buddhist images. These draw on traditional iconography and re-interpret it through the filter of influence of Western art practice. Several of these paintings were commissioned by Buddhist friends of the artist and Buddhist patrons.
Other 'pics' here are personal explorations. Inspiration is drawn from life, the human form, the landscape and the multi-dimensional response of the imagination to sensed experience.
